Won't you be my neighbor?

We had a new couple move in across the street from us the other day, and they have a dog. Well, it's raining pretty good right now and I saw my neighbor outside with the dog a while ago. So I hopped across the street in the cold rain to introduce myself and share some information with him. I advised him against putting a stake out back for the dog because there are Coyotes that frequent our area every once in a while. He was kinda surprised at the information and grateful thanked me for sharing with him.
