When was the last time you've asked your employer for a salary raise?

I had my last performance review 2 months ago and I voiced my concern of excessive workloads not matching my salary. I am working 5 hours plus daily at home playing catch-up.

My manager has no backbone and a yes person to our GM. I have spoken to my manager about this issue and nothing has come out of it.

Last Friday, I emailed our General Manager and outline the reasons why I need a pay rise. I checked my email and he schedule an appointment to discuss my concern tomorrow morning. Fingers and toes cross for a pay rise.

Not too long ago actually. They’re giving me a raise of sorts but it’s no enough. The shit I do for this company is more than they deserve.

I am in the same position, I am constantly spending so much of my free time working. I had a minuscule pay rise last year, once it's added to my salary, divide that by 12 month with tax included...pathetic.

@waleskinder I’m way ahead of you. My resumes out there. They’ll either give me the wage I asked for or I’ll get it elsewhere.

Again I'm in the same position. The salary doesn't match my qualifications and experience.
