There’s something wrong about June 27 being the night for July 4 fireworks.

A town about 6 miles from my kitchen window just did them--they are always the weekend before. The fireworks companies can't be everywhere at the same time. And neither can the viewers.

In our neighborhood it has always been the week before. I am told it is much cheaper. Ours was rained out tonight. Now it may happen tomorrow

Incredibly, no one around here has been setting them off this weekend. People set of fireworks on Christmas here.
