@4meAndyou I thought about the milk thing, but only after it calmed down considerably after wrapping my hand in a soft ice pack covered in a tea towel.

Why was there capsaicin in your hand as you fell asleep?

That sounds like a misunderstanding about to turn into major disaster

@Ferric67 I applied the cream to my shoulder, which I'm used to the affect there, and then didn't wash my hand with soap before falling asleep.

@faery next time use a rubber glove, it’s much easier that way….god forbid if you get that stuff i your eyes
