Fireworks are still scaring my cat!

She ran into the house sliding all over the tile floor and straight under the bed just an hour ago.

Had to calm her down for a while.

Given the French have been acing this democracy thing recently might as well be French.

Tonight's the first night I didn't hear any since the 4th

I'm still hearing them around here too, but not as often as most years. First July in 14 years that I haven't had to worry about my little dog 'child's' terror, and it's quieter than usual...go figure.

The neighborhood fireworks are still going off here too.
