trying to start things up more intimately a few days later. Then the holidays happened and that took up time and then upon returning from holidays I set up a “date” to test the waters. But unexpectedly he friend zoned me then and it hurt I admit but I accepted it. We’ve been casual friends since… however there’s a concert happening tomorrow night and I figured we would be going together since it’s a band that few ppl know, so perfect just one on one time, however he told me this: “Sooo I’m bringing a date there hehe ☺ ” but says he wants me to meet her and still grab drinks

Is that rude of him to say? Or is he just trying to make light of the situation? Is it odd that he’s bringing her to this unconventional show and wants me to meet her?
