Celebrating birthday 44 tomorrow

My birthday is not actually on 2/4 but it's in February, and with my dad in hospice, not knowing when he could pass, I'm going to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. I'll just be too sad most likely on my real birthday.

I think I'll treat myself to lunch, plus I have a birthday coupon for free birthday cheesecake...🎂 One small joy in a sea of sadness lately..

@Coralmist It really does feel good. I did something my brother really enjoyed the day he died. It felt very good to enjoy something I knew he loved too. Some people tried to be silly and tell me how to grieve but I told them that how I grieve is none of their business. Please consider doing things that both your dad and you enjoyed together or separately. It will make you feel good.
