My tiny tornado

He's already excited about his birthday next month. Every year on their birthday, I measure the kids and mark it on the wall with the date. It’s a big deal. They love seeing how much they've grown.

Today, I catch him standing next to the wall, staring at the marks with a tragic look on his face.

Dad... I think you hung it up wrong.

I walk over. How did I do that?

Yeah, something’s off. I should be taller. This thing’s broken

He steps up again, squints at the mark, then steps back disappointed

See? Only an inch. That’s it? I drink milk, I sleep, I do all the growing stuff!

Then he stands on his toes and measures again

There. Fixed it. I’m taller now.

@Shybutwilling2bfriends he wants to be so much taller poor kid. I'm not very tall myself so I think he's out of luck

@Cigarguy yeah I hear that. My moms side are all taller than 6'. It skipped me, to my son. Who is well over 6' at 20. On the otherside , my daughter has my thin hair. Poor girl. I jokingly tell her to take care of your hair now, cause by 30..... you know where I'm going with this. 🙂‍↕

@Levenrack I'm only 5'8. My wife was about 5'6 so I'm sure sure my kids won't be very tall. He just wants to be bigger so bad. He is very small for his age though and that doesn't help
