It is always near or actually on Thanksgiving Day, so I don't need any extra celebration, certainly nothing more to eat.

Pre-pandemic, I had lunch at a favorite restaurant, and treated myself to a calorie laden dessert. Since then stayed home.

Peace & quiet, sometimes with dinner out. I don’t even mention it any more.

I buy myself something luxurious (like perfume or jewelry), and one slice of cake. 🍰

Drink, hang with friends/family, set off a ton of fireworks, & go to sleep warm 🤷

I take myself to lunch and a movie. My sisters treat me to dinner.

I really don’t … but it makes me happy if others remember it …

I probably won’t be up to it next year. My mother would phone me at midnight when the New Year came in, then other friends and family would call in. The last time she did was 2021. I spoke to her on my birthday in 2022. This year she had become non-verbal, and I lost her this month.
