I Felt Alone On My Birthday

My brother is in ICU in a hospital in Florida, and while I doubt even he remembers, today is his birthday.

Nobody can visit him, he is not able to speak on the phone.

I love you, big brother, and do your best to stick around and we'll have a real bash next year.

@Mamapolo2016 there have been a lot more infected cases these two weeks than at the beginning of this plague. I tried to remind myself to keep alert and cautious with the protective measures and sanitary routine even though they are getting annoying. a specialist here estimated that 70% of the population here would get infected and a dozen thousand people here would die. the situation here is also worrying the worst is expected to come.

@Sssslm In nearly a month, I have left these apartment premises four times. I walk my dog early and late. I am determined that if someone I know or don't know gets the virus, they will not get it from me. (I don't have it, at least as far as I know).

@Mamapolo2016 if I don't need to go out to work I'll just do the same, leave my home once a week just to get some grocery from the supermarket. staying at home makes me feel safest.
