Do You Have Rituals? Do You Commemorate Life Events That Aren't Birthdays or Anniversaries?

Sure, we usually mark things like birthdays, and we even acknowledge the memory of people on the anniversary of their passing. But, are there things you do to commemorate certain events? On August 17, 2002, I returned home to an empty house. To say it was a game changer was an understatement. Here's the story for further reading:

I'm going to listen to the studio session we did that night...while my now ex was filling up her car with stuff and driving to her mom's house.

I'm guessing it's my OCD, but I mark things like:
Wife leaving
9/11
Divorce finalized
Deaths of loved ones

Does anyone else do this?

How about the 60th anniversary of giving your virginity to each other. Would that count?

Rituals to summon shadow people when I get lonely, yes.

No rituals but I keep in my mind the day I discovered my most favorite band.
I don’t even do birthdays.. 🤔🤷

I go to the cemetery alone every year and sit on a little stone bench to celebrate the day my ex-wife and I lost our son when she was eight months pregnant. August 1st, 16 years ago.

I’m not into rituals or holidays much.
Deaths of loved ones. Occasionally that has meant going to resting places, mostly it has meant doing something they would’ve enjoyed. With Mom, on one year’s anniversary we watched The Godfather I & II, two of her favorite movies.

Yeah, to an extent and mostly with my sons now. Bdays, graduations, first jobs, weddings, big promotions, etc

There was a time all of that was included for my spouse. It was mostly unreciprocated and eventually fell by the wayside.
I don't actually. Kids birthdays, yes.... everything else, no.
I even forget its my own birthday sometimes.

On my daughter's birthday I visit her grave and eat a cupcake in honor of her too short life. I have other rituals, too. Little ones. Like running the fingers over the grass when i feed my fish. Or lighting a scented candle when i need a midday nap.
Deaths mostly. If it's a grandparent we all get together and have a meal. My gran was all about family parties, so we do one in honour of her.

Other things, I just make a point of mentioning it
