Please can someone help? I'm trying to delete my FB but I can't figure it out...

I've noticed that almost every social media site I try to delete an account on let's me go through all of the steps only to give me an error message at the very end of it.
This is by design because they don't really want to allow you to deactivate these accounts and affect their numbers.
Most people just give up and simply stop using it. Which is fine with whatever site as it maintains the user numbers which directly affect the site's overall value.

I have heard of entities that can delete any accounts successfully but I'm sure that they charge a fee.
