The US thought that if Europe increased its military budgets they would buy American. They were wrong.

Votes for Trump was economically no different to slugs praying for salt. As Europe expects Trump to renege on the promises made by President Harry Truman, they plan the increase of their military spending, with their own weapons instead of US obsolete cast offs.

Yeah! Go Europe! I’m an American, but I’m cheering for you guys and hoping for the worst with my country. I think many of us need to learn and unfortunately it’s going to take some serious consequences before we do.

America just can't be trusted with Trump in charge. He literally changes his mind minute to minute, so there's no stability as far as foreign leaders can see. He also tried the same lie twice on camera by saying Europe had loaned money to Ukraine that they expected to be repaid. Both Macron and Starmer had to correct him and he looked like a clueless buffoon. Europe needs to break ties with the USA. Trump doesn't seem to value the relationship anyway, so.....

@Richard65 That’s utter nonsense. No one has been dedicated to his purpose like Trump. In a second term he’s literally immune to political pressure and draining the swamp will continue. Watch what he does not what he says. It’s a common negotiators practice.

@jshm2 And the F35 wasn’t over budgeted?

Nothing is better for the US than a militarily independent Europe seeing to its own security. It’s a win-win for everyone.
redredred · M
@ArtieKat how is that remotely relevant to my comment?
ArtieKat · M
@redredred Ummm! 🤷‍♀Try doing some thinking (for yourself) and work out its relevance.

America is about to lose bigly on one of its biggest global exports...Britain, France, Germany and Sweden congratulate Trump on his diplomatic skills. General Dynamics looks at black hole of cancelations.. (Pardon me anticipating headlines a week ahead)😷

...yes, falls out a window, but then the window was somehow found locked when the cops showed up to investigate.

@swirlie And everyone was at lunch and the security cameras were all turned off. And the Secret service all had their backs turned. Epstein 2.0😷

Canada never increased its military budget, yet Canada's Prime Minister Trudeau announced nationwide to his Canadian audience to "BUY Canadian First" after Trump threatened Canada with tariffs and annexation.

Now, Canadians are demanding that Canadian stores deal with Canadian suppliers who will provide products that are Made in Canada. 🇨🇦

Choosing to leave American-Made products on the shelf has nothing to do with increased military budgets causing Europeans to start "Buying American", of that I can assure you and I can assure Americans as well, particularly those misinformed misfits who voted Trump into the Presidency for a second time... or those American losers who never got off their fat asssesss on election day to even cast a vote in the first place to potentially prevent another Trump win.

Basic Economics, isn't it?

How many bankrupted businesses - including casinos (for God's sake!) - has Trump had?

@ArtieKat
Six to be exact, but who's counting?

@ArtieKat
A common misperception about DJ Trump is that he is the brainchild behind Trump Corp, a misunderstanding that most Americans have about the guy who they 'think' is capable of running the US government like a business venture because of his perceived experience in business matters.
