It would be Prudent for Europe to become less reliant on the U.S. and move away from using the U.S. Dollar

as the mechanism used for trading and paying for commodities.
In addition to this re-establish new and stronger ties and co-operative relations with Russia (OIL and GAS) and China for TRADE.
Signing a new and long-term agreeable commerce and industry friendships and unifying the entire continental landmass with infrastructure prepare for future growth in the entire giant landmass of Eurasia, Middle East, Africa.
The entire landmass could thus become a very large infrastructure of rail, shipping, trade, commerce, industry.

Yes because we can see what a great trading partner Russia makes. The fact is, NATO was created to protect Europe from an over aggressive USSR. NATO is expanding to remain strong against continued aggression from Russia. So now get away from NATO’s main benefactor in the US and increase trade with entity NATO was created to guard against?

That doesn’t sound very smart to me. Look what’s happening to Germany after they chose Russia as their main energy supplier

@carpediem It is all in the making now it is a move away from having the USD as the trading mechanism
The gas is there the Germans just had to agree to Nordstream 2 going online and now paying in Rubles

@Longleggedlady Good luck with that. Just don’t come whining when things go bad. As a US tax payer I’m tired of paying to protect Europe and get nothing in return. Europe wants to make a switch? Careful what you ask for.
