White reggae band silenced by dreadlock row in Switzerland.–
Swiss reggae band "Lauwarm" was forced to halt a gig after being accused of cultural appropriation by audience members who complained about two of its white (!) members wearing dreadlocks.
The organiser of the concert in a restaurant in Bern, Switzerland, stopped the performance saying that a number of listeners had complained they felt “uncomfortable” because the band was committing cultural appropriation.

The cultural purity which those wokies demand is not far away from "racial purity". 75 years ago, the ancestors of those "woke" idiots felt "uncomfortable" when white people played jazz, (because N word music).

I was really hoping everybody had realised 'cultural appropriation' was the biggest nonsense ever. Does that mean people from Africa are not allowed to wear trousers? How stupid is that. When I was in Arabia (yeah somebody on here was upset by that word as it sounded 'colonial'), I considered buying the local traditional garments - they looked more appropriate wear for the climate, glad I didn't bother now if it causes idiots to get upset.
@helenS Yes and the irony, well 2 ironies really firstly it wasn't anybody from the Middle East complaining and secondly not long after I'd had that discussion the tourist advertisements for the Middle East, used the slogan 'visit Arabia'. Any doubts of it's use were blown away for me at that point.
