[b]White reggae band silenced by dreadlock row in Switzerland.–[/b]
Swiss reggae band "Lauwarm" was forced to halt a gig after being accused of [i]cultural appropriation[/i] by audience members who complained about two of its white (!) members wearing dreadlocks.
The organiser of the concert in a restaurant in Bern, Switzerland, stopped the performance saying that a number of listeners had complained they felt “uncomfortable” because the band was committing cultural appropriation.

It is bizarre, very closed minded. Same with music, anyone can play any style. It’s funny, reading this article, “the offended ones” are really the true racists. They think only blacks can wear dreadlocks and play that genre of music. That’s racial profiling at its finest@helenS
@Jimthere4fun Yes. Likewise they could say guys like Keith Jarrett, John Abercrombie, Michael Brecker, John Scofield should never have played their excellent jazz because, you know, "cultural appropriation".
