Was it a big mistake Britain exiting the Common Market and European Community?

Has Brexit turned into a joke? Higher prices, less availability of goods, too much time wasted on things which no one mentioned in the for or against debate?

The remain vote did mention all those things, but were shouted down.

@Mindfulness Obviously. People just didn't want to know how bad things could get.

@SW-User I think a lot of people did know how bad things would get, unfortunately they were in the minority when it came to a referendum, which by the way, isn't a legally binding vote, it was basically an opinion poll.

@Mindfulness Yeah but the government treated it as legally binding, sadly, and then turned it into the hardest of hard Brexits, which nobody wanted.
