Is Europe grateful for the chance to beat Russia?

Does the population in Europe think it should pay Americans for this war in Ukraine?
BlueVeins · 22-25 Best Comment
I think Europe would much rather have peace of mind & cheap energy than a bloody war instigated by Russia inside of it. I'm sure the populations of the European countries have deeply mixed opinions on who should pay for the war, but I think it'd make a lot more sense to "pay" the Ukrainians directly in aid than to pay the US.

@BlueVeins Thats the problem the EU is not pulling its weight as usual.

America taking credit for doing absolutely fuck all. Again.

@BoredDarkLord Not sure what you mean. Without American support Ukraine would be a Russian colony.

@BoredDarkLord I'm sure all those US made AAWS-M's and MPADS's we're sending them to take out tanks and helicopters are doing fuck all... 🙄

Europe has never been as united as it is now.
The crimes Russia is committing now are a threat to the whole world, not only Europe. Not sure what you mean, "paying"???

@helenS Salvini and associates are already whining about Finland joining NATO and about sending weapons to UA (no wonder..), and next year we vote here. I've a bad presentment about the unity thing, at least from Italian PoV.

Agreed with all the rest of course

@Elessar There are Putinists in all European countries, of course. In France, it's Mme LePen, and she has been defeated.

far from it there is a principle here . putin has step over the line on this one and needs dealing with .this is an unprovoked illegal invasion [changeisgonnacome]

I think we should all be grateful that the US is always very supportive, I am very thankful 👍
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Changeisgonnacome well you believe what you want.
Changeisgonnacome · 61-69, F
@Justenjoyit nobody can do that. You cannot have your own reality.
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Changeisgonnacome Yes I can because I live in a fee country thanks to the US 🇺🇸

Tbh I don't think any of us want to be in the position where we're having to deal with a war and having our economies effected on top of that. Nobody should pay anyone for what is a moral intervention in this day and age. If anything it'll increase relations between us all and it already has in Europe.

well if russia achieved one thing with this war its to unite europe in a way it hasnt been before and at the same time wake up all the sleeping warmonger back to arms...
a full scale militarized europe again isnt exactly good news for the world.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@EvilEmma
unite europe
it never lasts...

i.e. ww1, ww2, etc.

@wildbill83 thats why its different this time... in germany we have this word Zeitgeist... and its like a feeling of belonging together, solidarity and sharing the same history and future...
something that EU idealistically tried for decades... but in the end it was just a loose money bond.

this changed... from portugal to finland... from denmark to greece... people are united not by oney or social contracts but in their minds and feelings. its europe.. and fuck russia if it dares mess with us... china.. bring it on... usa.. yeah you better get your shit together.

Some idiots are. Others realise that our politicians are screwing people once again, this time making them pay more for overpriced American gas.

Europe is fucked while the U.S. is getting fucked.

But here something to make you happy. Russia GDP just drop 12% for cutting imports.
