Alternative European map. [I Am European]

I found it online. In general, I agree more than disagree with it.

Things I would change:
- Spain and Portugal should join.
- Bavaria and Austria should be together too.
- Belgium should be split between France and the Netherlands.
- Italy is too divided

Things I really like:
- Ireland and UK together.
- Ukraine split between Russia and Poland+Lithuania
- Albania absorbed by the former Yugoslavia.
- The partition of Germany
- Istambul is Greek again 👍

@Bad4U The French wanted Germany and Austria-Hungary gone. Russia, Italy, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania would have been the bigger winners.

@Cierzo Wait, do I just see that they gave Austrian territory to my country?!

Actually, the most western Austrian province Vorarlberg wanted to join Switzerland after WWI but we rejected them.

@Cierzo the break up of the ottoman empire like it happend irl was one of the worst thigns ever we still suffer from it cause it dreated totally useless borders between countries like iraq and syria and arabia

@Bad4U The existence of the Ottoman empire was a disgrace in itself. 1453 is one of the first years I would delete from history. 1918 too.

@Bad4U The British promised the Arabs before their revolt against Ottoman rule that they would get a large Arab kingdom, consisting of the territories of modern Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine/Israel, Jordan. Maybe they even promised what is Saudi Arabia too (not sure). Needless to say the British made deal with the Zionists regarding Palestine and one with the French regarding Syria and Lebanon.
