We have those too. But there is only one big one in the middle of town. People only go there when they have truck loads of recycling
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@GuyWithOpinions Ahh, we have a central station with even bigger ones for that and all big trash.

Do you also have household collection bins? (Four for each home in my county, in England, but it does vary a bit around a country.)
As well as local Council skip-yards for bulky waste not collected via the household bins, so -
- Garden waste (this is turned into compost),
- Wood,
- Metals (but not "WEEE"),
- "WEEE" ("Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment"),
- Glass,
- Rubble and old tyres (a small charge is levied on these),
- Intact, re-useable items such as furniture and household fittings but not electrical equipment (placed in a separate area and offered for sale).
Many shops have bins for small, expired cells (AA, button, etc.), too.

All kinds of multi bins around here. Garbage, Compost and Recycle.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@Degbeme That's great!

Recycling is good. Repurposing before recycling is better. Would get more useful life.

it is cool when you share your culture on here.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@robertsnj I'm glad you like it 😊 I like to see others cultures as well so I thought maybe it would be fun to see a little about where I live.

@Queendragonfly i like these kind of posts a lot-would never know little things like this about Sweden if you didn't post it.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@robertsnj I'm glad to introduce you to Swedish culture besides classics like IKEA and midsummer.

Rare things here, yet we have the Green Party keeping the Labour Party in government. A bit of a paradox.

@BlueGreenGrey I have never been to the UK. But from what I hear there's a rain climate there that differs from Sweden. However summer temperature wise we seem to be mutual. I'm not sure which areas of UK that resembles Sweden the most though.
