We have plenty of food and clean water here, but unit the emergency is over we are staying home.

The flood has been blamed for thirteen deaths in the region, and a state of emergency persists. We are staying home for the foreseeable future and as we won’t have students for the time being we have decided to use the time to rehearse our new ballets.

The situation is terrible but we have to remain safe and sound and not worry too much about our revenue (we have enough in the bank to pay for the interruption in our earnings). We have an old building here but the guys went up to look at the roof from within and had no worries about it being capable of withstanding the storm.

It’s possible that this is a winter storm that might have dissipated at sea if it wasn’t for the power of the hurricane 🌀 that hit Florida hadn’t stirred up the biosphere. I am sure the angels holding the fury of the planet in check won’t unleash anymore to drown us because God promised no deluge in putting the rainbow 🌈 in the sky.

At least 51 people are reported dead in the floods that struck the Valencia region on Tuesday and overnight. Children are understood to be among the dead.

Torrential rains caused by a cold front moving across southeastern Spain flooded roads and towns on Tuesday, prompting authorities in the worst-hit areas to advise citizens to stay at home and avoid all non-essential travel.

"Dead bodies have been found, but out of respect for the families, we are not going to provide any further data," said the president of the Valencia region, Carlos Mazón.
