@Sevendays well, I suppose to achieve lower prices, because we all want those, we could remove sales tax as well as corporate taxes AND tariffs, after all we all want lower prices.

@BlueGreenGrey Elementary. Because the rest of the world was literally in shambles from WWII and the U.S. had little to no competition on the global market. We were the only supplier in town, so to speak.

@Sevendays It didn't happen the last time Trump tariffed China. They manipulate their currency to offset.
