I believe anyone who thinks an increase in earth's population of around 5.4 billion people over the last 70 years, and spewing over 6000 metric tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere each year, isn't contributing to climate change is a fool.

@wildbill83 What you are leaving out is that many of these forests are releasing more greenhouse gases than they absorb. For instance, the Amazon Rain Forest now (due to deforestation caused by humans) emits more greenhouse gases than they absorb. For the last many years it ceased being a carbon sink and has become a source.
