@HoraceGreenley I'm quite familiar with ARAPNET. I suspect I was involved with the internet before you were born and long before forums like SW could exist. Anyone in the Telcom business credits Gore for making the internet what it is today. Sure, if he hadn't done it, someone else would eventually have- but he did it.

Furthermore, Global warming IS REAL. Arctic ice is melting- anyone who lives in a coastal area like I do can see ocean levels are rising, beaches are shrinking, more areas are becoming flood-prone. Building codes and insurance rates are being changed because of it.
