Seven top oil firms downgrade their assets by nearly $90 billion in 9 months

Good! This shows that even the oil companies are taking climate and the shift to renewable energy seriously. I now hope that every one of their workers will eventually be retrained in renewable energy industries🌎️

@revenant Are you talking about something specific other than oil?
Because OP seems to be rather glad that things are shifting away from oil.
SW-User
@TeirdalinFirefall I have no idea what she's talking about.
SW-User
@revenant If you mean oil, yes indeed it does.
revenant · F
@SW-User so what are you talking about ? those wind turbines no ? or make it clear
SW-User
@revenant Renewable energy sources. Solar, wind, tidal, geothermal...what are YOU talking about?
revenant · F
@SW-User are you that stupid ?
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
I feel like you're both on the same side of the issue. It's pretty entertaining though.
SW-User
@TeirdalinFirefall I would like to think that @revenant would be pleased to see the demise of the companies that have polluted our environment, perhaps beyond repair, and have then paid BILLIONS to cover up the damage.
revenant · F
@SW-User you are too stupid to realise that those are aimed to destroy you
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
@revenant Revenant, are you implying that there is no good energy source in the world; other than coal?
SW-User
@TeirdalinFirefall Sadly, it looks as though she is implying just that. Apparently, everything else will destroy us. Of course we have to take her word for it...

On that note, what somebody else said about electric plains is a good point. I don't think we're going to be able to fully move out of oil any time soon, but I think definitely a good start would be to have more nuclear power plants and to replace all residential vehicles with electric. I actually have all my stocks on a company that is bringing hybrid electric semi trucks soon.
SW-User
@TeirdalinFirefall I'll tell you what would be a good start: All new cars should be hybrids at least. If nothing more, it will massively cut air pollution in cities as cars often don't go above 30 mph in cities.

@SW-User That's true.
