NASA is told what to say and like an obedient child it returns the answers its political masters want to hear. If it does not give those answers it loses its funding. BTW 10 years is still way too short a period of time and the area you mentioned is way to localized to indicate anything. Last year we had a very warm summer. This year we have had a cool summer. What does it indicate? It indicates weather.

@RodionRomanovitch Go read what they published. Their goals are far more drastic than just trying to get along with nature. It will be wholesale slaughter to get to their goals in the timeframe they imagine. Holland and now Canada are restricting the amount of fertilizer farmers can use on their land. That will result in food shortages. Combine that with Canada's attempt to limit the number of livestock a farmer can raise and sell. Ever heard of the Holodomor?

@RodionRomanovitch How much experience do you have farming? I grew up on one. The difference between a fertilized crop and an unfertilized crop is striking. I went to the old farm last week. I was shocked at how much the productivity of the land has increased since I left the farm in the 70s. Even in our best years we never saw crops like I saw last week. This year has not been a particularly good growing season but the crops are huge compared to 50 years ago. Take away the fertilizer and watch the crops fail. Starvation will be the result.
