Is the planet over populated? Is that contributing to global warming?

If so, what can be done to ease over population?

Overpopulation would mean that there are not enough resources to support the population and that is not true. Resources may not be adequately or fairly distributed, but the planet can support the population it has.

However, more sustainable means of living are going to have to be adopted. Fossil fuels will not last forever, certain areas will have to make do with less water, etc.

@SW-User There is a lot of work to be done to increase productivity with the resources we have. Always better ways to do things and that includes agriculture.
it's not as much overpopulation as it is overconsumption

Over population isn't the problem it's modern living that's causing all the pollutants in the air accelerating global warming. We need less industrialization of modern gadgets like cell phones and computers.
nonsense. if ppl dont start keeping babies instead of aborting them, theres going to be a human shortage.
No, capitalism. But we don't expect you to let as my side stop capitalism!
Lie. Too many people,! Death is good for you.
What about the aging? What about the demographic cliff we're approaching? Are there enough people? Oh right -. I'll translate that question to American-. Duhhhhuh. Blubmfrupvvh.

@Fairydust I was reading before the vaccine that some highly populated countries already had a downward trend, China, Japan and some others. China raised the limit on how many children a couple could have and they still don’t want t have more.

@Fairydust Japan probably due to the tsunami. It was after that when the birth rates started going down. I think it overwhelmed and scared the young people.
