Anyone Want To Tell Me Why Plastic Straws Were Banned?

Plastic should be banned for food/drink packaging. I thought this years before it became a thing.

@SW-User I remember when glass jars were used for almost everything. Some of those jars could be used as everyday drinking glasses and some like peanut butter jars had measurements on them to use for measuring food when cooking. I have been getting jelly in these for a couple of years. People are trying to sell them on EBay now.
