I haven't watched them since I was a kid. I did see the clip when Halle Berry won best actress. I just looked up when that was...21 year ago....

Although I just clicked on the awards show briefly a few times, I did see that part...too. It was one of a few parts of it I saw, that were rather moving to me. I haven't seen any of the nominated movies, yet, but I've seen some clips of them. From what I've seen of The Whale, it seems that the best actor award was also well-earned, and deserved.

I was glad for Jamie Curtis, too.

If you can find it (uk it's on BBC Iplayer to stream) watch the Irish Goodbye it won best live action short film and deservedly so. Brilliant film.

I love her. That movie made me cry. Shes so talented and interesting.

I didn't hear about that, but I was glad Jamie Lee Curtis finally broke her streak. They've been snubbing her forever.
