Why were all the best movies written in the 70s even all the best books are 70s

Ahh,the 70s....a true peace and love decade😀 probably anything by Mel brooks..I heard a Brit Historian call him tasteless thee other day..duh Brit guy..Funny AH.Belle de Jour (1974??),Murmur of the Heart ...I started discovering French films on the internet ANYTHING by Eric Rohmer..I posted one last night on you tube Cooley High...one response😬..The Bad News Bears,The End ,A Clockwork Orange will have to stand in for Dr Strangelove....
