has anyone ever lost a lot of important media files, like pictures and music

[c=BF0000][i]and did you feel devastated? was there no way to retrieve the lost files? it's happened to me on a couple of occasions...once when my windows xp computer harddrive crashed years ago, and i lost thousands of pictures and music files, all important to me...i was devastated and very gutted.

i just want to know has this ever happened to anyone else? how did you get over it?[/i][/c]
