Ignoring the hyperbole of comparing Russia to nazi Germany the answer is no. The likelihood of a strategic nuclear exchange is very low in reality. And when it comes to a conventional fight France and Germany alone could curb stomp the Russian military into the dust. This is part of why NATO is kind of pointless. It is an American controlled organization in an era where Europe is quite capable of defending itself.
