It has clearly become anti-male particularly caucasian. why does it seem they are replacing all the old male characters in stories now with primarily female or fill in the blank gender. Are we supposed to believe that all women are destined to be super heroes particularly if they are some truly butt ugly? Oh and sister don’t need no man!

What’s wrong with having female characters with super hero abilities or female leads in roles that require a strong lead or women in action movies who can also kick ass?

@justanothername What was ever wrong with women acting like kind decent women?. Really is it attractive when a woman beats others up, assuring everyone she can do everything without a man. Yes Guys are like Yeah you go girl! No really please just get the F out of here and keep going.

@sdave455 A woman can be a decent woman and still defend her self successfully against an male attacker. It’s commonly known as self defense. It’s not “unattractive” it’s the sign of a modern woman who knows how to look after herself.
Clearly not something that conservative Americans are familiar with.

@sdave455 Women don’t kick guys in the balls without reason. Usually because they are being threatened and generally in most movies or tv shows the women tend to block or deflect punches first. Or the female cop shoots an offender who attempts to shoot at her.

@sdave455 Well it would be simikar to saying every woman should just be calm, quiet and kind, and every man should be assertive or aggressive and tough. BOTH genders have both tough and kind traits. I think cinema would be kinda boring if women were just only cast as quiet, and men only as tough...
