Zora and Quan are demon slayers. They regularly go on missions together but Quan typically backs out when things get too intense during battle. Unfortunately, the demons have gotten stronger and now the demon slayers have to fight in groups. Demon slayers still get injured and a couple even died.

Zora suggests that they bring a demon to fight along with them. The leader gave them the okay since Amir has proved himself trustworthy. The leader gave Quan specific directions on what spell to do if Amir snaps and goes into his darker form.

They gang go into battle mode. The fight gets intense and several slayers get injured. Quan hides and watches the action unfold. Since Amir is the last one fighting he basically transforms into a monster and ends up eating someone. Quan knows that he was supposed to use the spell to stop Amir but he was too scared.

So, who's fault is it that a human ended up being eaten/injured?

I'll probably say Quan. Being scared to go into battle I can see but you still have a responsibility.

Quan had a job and he didn't do it, everyone else either had no expectation to perform or whose shortcoming was accounted for
that hoe quan, he didn’t use the spell.

You had one job, Quan.

One job!
