Vince McMahon retires from WWE? 😲

I thought that he would still be demanding to run everything... as the ultimate workaholic and doing things he's not supposed too...

But I guess age (77) and scandals (paying female employees to keep quiet about non-work related activities)... finally got to him...

Sounds like his daughter Stephanie McMahon is now in control with co-CEO Nick Kahn.

Interesting to see how much changes... clearly Stephanie's husband vision for NXT was different than Vince's vision.

That reminds me of my stint as a pro wrestler.

That's me, on top.

@Slade @Viper

They always strip searched faeries for wands before the match.
In the dressing room, I mean.
Viper · M
@Thinkerbell yeah, for the wands, that's why we do it, right 😏

@Thinkerbell should have brought in a vibrator. Would have sold out the Superdome😎

hopefully wwe becomes good again without his interference
Viper · M
@ExperienceDLT I really only follow WWE, I'm loyal like that, I get a favorite and stick with it, but it's been crap the last 10-15 years as a whole...

I haven't seen much Japanese stuff, but when I have, it's been amazing, it wouldn't surprise me if they had the best right now.
@Viper New Japan has some real talent if you like high flyer types look up Will Osprey dude is freaking talented

@Viper ya and now they have aew to compete against who is putting out a better product week after week i was reading somewhere about wwe is going back to like 14a ratings to try to combat aew hopefully they just don't screw it up big time hhh in charge could be really really good
Hahaha my dad loves wrestling :) i think its kinda silly but he legit loves that tall guy with the hat and long black jacket and long black hair

@TryingtoLava He had a long, long run. When Paul Bearer died he carried his ashes to the ring for inspiration. When his opponent got the urn the undertaker would lose all his power and ability😋

Then, inevitably, another wrestler would come in (funny the refs never saw him), pin the guy and get back Paul Bearer's ashes. Then reunited with the ashes, the Undertaker could give him a major beatdown👍
Slade · 56-60, M
@TryingtoLava oh yeah that too. So cartoonishly excellent!
@Slade thats prob why hes my dads fav

Speaking of the WWE, one of their former ring girls is running for CT Senate. Against that insect Richard Blumenthal

I'll bet the stockholders demanded it
Viper · M
@Slade I wouldn't doubt it, but I extremely strongly doubt he'd give a d@mn want the stockholders wanted, as they way they set it up, there were two classes of stock.

Stock with power, which stayed with the McMahon family, and stock with no power, which they sold publicly...

That being said, if some gave then lawsuits, saying we've seen enough, this is clearly illegal, step down or we'll file them, then that might of happened...
Keeper · M
Shit - forgot he was 77
Viper · M
@Keeper Yeah, I didn't think he'd retire until he was medical unable to do it anymore...
And zero people care

@ExperienceDLT exactly, and it shows you do care! Otherwise you wouldn't waste your energy doing so

Yeah. He "retired", lol.

What I hated about the WWE under his direction was that he destroyed his competition completely. That's never a good thing when you're trying to put out a quality product.
Viper · M
@LordShadowfire I didn't care about that, as much as they story lines have been sh!t the last decade plus...

And they have literally stopped building up new stars... just keep recalling the old ones...

Of course, that might of happened because they had no competition.
