Ever heard of "Kraftwerk"?

If so (or not), care to post a tune by them?

I anticipated it’s release and never disappointed in the music off of TEE.

@Pfuzylogic They released their essential albums at a time when male pop stars had loooong hair, a bare chest under a leather vest, and played excessively long guitar solos. Kraftwerk's music as well as their outward appearance must have come as a shock.

I was very into Bowie and Eno by 1977.
Bowie pointed to Kraftwerk as an inspiration and so I went and enjoyed their creativity!

@Pfuzylogic I have Eno's "Another Green World" album, and I like it a lot.

@helenS I have been playing that very recently on my car stereo. At one time and even now it has been my favorite release of any music. This also serves as a movie score on the very popular movie, “Them lovely Bones”. .

@helenS Great tune. Thanks for your reply.

@Atlotto You're welcome! 🌷

@helenS haven't heard the name Eno for awhile
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User I like his early "alternative rock" albums, especially "Another Green World", but I think his later "ambient" output was/is rather dull. He made an album with Robert Fripp that I liked, I think the title is "Evening Star"; it may contain some re-interpreted King Crimson work.
For some reason many British musicians in the 1970s were incredibly inventive.

@helenS
Eno had a lot of good music before he went ambient.

I wasn't aware he played with Bowie. I have "Low" and it is an excellent album.

Let me correct one title.
Before and after Science

All of this is from the 1970s

Fun being a trailblazer then.
Not many in high school knew how good he was.

@helenS I actually heard that (TEE) on my Sirius Radio First Wave Channel about 10 minites after you first posted that🤯

@helenS I remember the HS kids talking about the Fripp Eno collaboration. I was more into nihilistic punk rock then. Saw Wendy O Williams play with the Plasmatics wearing nothing but a piece of string and 2 bandaids.😝

That was a tent popper!

I ❤️ ed slam dancing!
