It's millennials on Twitter saying the humor is outdated.

When I see headlines claiming Twitter is 'blowing up' over something I just ignore it because their thoughts are usually useless to me.
@AnOldFriend i wish it would blow up...like a balloon...permanently crash

Steve Martin is one of the all time greats but you know there always has to be that one person.😟
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@DIABLISS I don’t know where the disconnect came from but their sense of humor is lost on me sometimes.
@SageWanderer i don't thin they have a sense of humor
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
@DIABLISS At least a lot different from ours!

Steve Martin was so talented he could play a banjo with an arrow through his head. Maybe some people get snarky about King Tut because they are against LGBT rights - he say's - "King Tut his daddy was a mummy" and they think he is talking about same sex marriages. Cheers!
@Nanoose i love the arrow through the head bit. my favorite was when he went on Johnny Carson and Chevy Chase was hosting. Steve came on stage with tiny paper bags taped under his eyes...claiming he was so tired...

He’s one of the funniest older comedians that’s still alive today. They probably couldn’t find anything on him but they went back 44 years to find something to complain about I love that skit and one with Dan Aykroyd Two Wild and Crazy Guys
@SageWanderer wonderful

@SageWanderer That was a hilarious skit. Cheers!
@Nanoose 🥂

It's easy to be offended by things that you don't fully understand..
This falls into that category. The majority of the band wagon jumpers weren't even alive back then and don't have a grasp of how things were.
@rebeqa they were saying that he was taking advantage of the Tut display when actually he was making fun of all the hoopla. weird
rebeqa · 46-50, F
@DIABLISS Exactly, since they can't grasp how things were, they take such things (Baby it's cold outside also comes to mind) out of context.
@rebeqa how do they take that lovely Christmas song wrong?
They don’t get it. He was hilarious.
@bijouxbroussard absolutely

That guy has looked the same since forever ago … Roxanne is a good movie of his x
@SW-User i wish he had a better movie career. i loved the Jerk, that bird watching movie was great...slow but i couldn't look away, i hate all the remakes he made...he is better than that. his new show is excellent
