Well, maybe you should Google the story about the Canadian family that was so proud that they had purchased an EV.
They decided to vacation in the United States. However, three days into their vacation they had to go into a rental car company and rent a car with a gasoline engine. Just so they could complete their vacation and paid storage for their EV. They found out just how impractical they are.
Google the results of EV truck tests, a pick up can only pull a camper 100 miles and Hass to sit for an hour if they’re lucky enough to find a rapid charger.
One day electric vehicles may be a viable solution, but not for decades.
And to say someone is an idiot for believing that they are a viable solution today is not being rude. It is a factual statement.

@Shaveit You started name calling for no reason, which is rude.
And I’m neither in Canada or America so that story holds no relevance to me.
I said on the post that I didn’t think current models of electric car are the solution, so I don’t know what you’re trying to achieve.
You said you are being forced to by electric, but you haven’t been.
