Why do people say "Reality is just an Illusion"

@Phantome take my word for it... It is lol.... The reason eye witness to a crime often have different stories as to what they saw... People filter reality through their own experiences.. They deal with the version, not the raw data

@Convivial true, but isn't it all similar for everyone ?

@Phantome i don't think so... There will certainly be shared commonalities... But there will be differences too where none should exist...a simple example is how people describe a colour

@Convivial but color is just a small aberation of the eyes in different people, doesn't everyone observe color the same way?
