I Had My Mouth Washed Out With Soap
I hope this doesn’t qualify as a fetish. If so, it has to be the worst ever.
My great Aunt Margaret passed away at 96 about 5 years ago. A strong pioneer woman who never married and took care of her sheep and chickens on her farm until she was 90. ( broken hip slowed her down). One day after she fell, I was recruited by her friends to tell her she needed to go to a nursing home.
Lol. Right. This woman is the only person who ever washed my mouth out with soap. Quite possibly I called my sister a name, but she accepted no argument and that soap tasted vile. I think I tasted it for a week (may be an exaggeration)🙂
No worries. I paid for 24 hour care for the last year of her life without insurance. The cost of that tasted sweet compared to the bar of soap she would have made me wash out my mouth with if I had said, “nursing home”. I wish I had inherited her grit.
