My laptop has 'spell check' which is great! It never tries to out think me!

I don't have "auto correct". I have 'spell check". It doesn't correct things for me. If it doesn't recognize a word that I use, it won't change it. It underlines it in red and allows me to change it or not, My sister has auto correct and sometimes I get emails from her that I have to translate!.

Also called "predictive text" on 'phones - I call the wretched function "unpredictable Texan", and wish I could turn it off permanently, but it's the default setting.
