It wasn't a present, but one year my birthday was overshadowed by a family reunion and baby shower. Hardly anyone even knew I was there.

My MIL got me a Crest "Return of the Jedi" toothpaste/electric toothbrush combo.And lest I forget the collector's edition cotton swab box in the same set.This was last Christmas--and I'm 57 freakin' years old!!!!

Well my mother in her eyes got me some really gross smelling mint foot cream last year. Could be due to that she was having a bad year though. I threw it way. Don't tell her. 😱 I didn't get her a gift and neither did my husband. She wasn't acting like herself all year.
