Want to know how today's youth got so spoiled and entitled?

I just found out a few minutes ago that my older brother took his 23 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER to a boy band concert TO NEW YORK FROM IOWA, that she had ALREADY SEEN IN IOWA, TWICE, this past month. I don't give two fucking god damns, that's massive over doing it .

@SwampFlower (((((HUGS))))) Your Dad helped You, my older brother is hurting my niece by giving into her every indulgence, he has done things like this for all of his kids.

@NativePortlander1970 Your brother is definitely being extravagant. At least put that money towards something useful like a house or educational payments lol. I'm guessing these young adults aren't set for life or anything yet right?

@SwampFlower He sent her to pastry school and she now works at a friend's bakery, where she somehow gets to set her own schedule compared to the other employees.

@NativePortlander1970 Well, that is kind of neat. Happy for her. If she helped pay her way on the trip then it wouldn't be so crazy to me. It could have been a nice experience for them both.
