I think my cousin is having a midlife crisis or something

Suddenly he has become a hoarder; as a family, we have helped him clean/organize his house weekly. As time has passed, it has become more apparent that he is lazy and expects everyone (women) to clean up after him. Now he is claiming to have PTSD over ridiculous things. For example, his wife has to put away his socks. Why? Well, because 20 years ago, when he was 17, my aunt's bf threw his socks away, and he couldn't go to school without socks. I laughed hysterically that time; maybe I was insensitive but like socks? Another time he claimed he couldn't go downstairs and clean because the basement had flooded once. This fool acts like he had to swim down there wtf.

Today while with my aunt, she was telling me she found a nice garbage can in his closet. He had been needing one for that room and never mentioned it. They need a giant full-sized trash can in every room, I guess. The entire thing was full of garbage bags and two bricks. And, of course, these random bricks cannot be thrown away for sentimental reasons. Then they cleaned the flood and sprinkled baking soda on the carpet before vacuuming it. He threw the box on the floor and didn't pick it up. When confronted by my aunt, he said it was because he was never taught these things. I started laughing again. This grown-ass man can't pick up an empty box because no one taught him how to.

That shameless semicolon

But yeah he has issues lol
This is all so funny 馃槄

He has PTSD because someone threw his socks away once. He can't clean his basement because it got wet one time. He has bricks he keeps for sentimental reasons. He can't pick up a box until he's taught how to.

My mom's a hoarder though so I know the frustration 馃樁
