The last one is so that the dog's can look out. I have a friend that did this for her dog. Hers looks a lot better, and her door has square glass panels. It is a doggy trend.

@Fungirlmmm we did that with our roller door to our carport, one at our head height, and one at the dogs.
It seemed only fair.
