TVT is very dumb and has been a lolcow for a long time now. While I've seen her be racist before, I don't think this constitutes racism bc the point she's making is literally just that stigmatizing words doesn't address the hatred behind them. It's fine to dislike her prescription or think the way it's presented is cringe (I do too), but it's not racist.
And while I generally am not a huge fan of comparing the systemic mass-killing of animals to slavery or the Holocaust (bc it detracts from the core point), there are legitimate parallels that are useful to examine. All three are extreme acts of moral depravity committed and condoned by society at large, all justified by disinformation and normalized to the point where the average person would've defended them. In all cases, the perpetrators were able to take moral comfort in numbers; since other people are doing it, that makes it "normal" and what's normal can't be so monstrous... right? This type of thinking is really common among carnists today, and the effects shield the perpetrators from any real justice.
That said, I think that the Holocaust comparisons give anti-vegans an easy 'out' to pretend that we're being racist without actually refuting our points, an out which they've been really effective in using. And I don't trust TVT to make the argument I'm making with any kind of strategic acuity, thoughtfulness, or even accuracy.
