I hate people...

Translation of two Dutch tweets.

Lesbian:
I don't understand why strangers in the street want to know which one of us gave birth to our daughter. What are you going to do with that information?

Guy:
How is that a weird question? Why do you see everything as an attack? If you don't want to talk to people, go live in a remote cabin!

If you see a straight couple, chances that the man pushed out the child are pretty slim.

Dude, whether you can or can't know without asking isn't the point here. 🙄 The question is how that's any of your business and why you're even interested in that. 🤦

Exactly. When you see any couple with a baby, how do you know that either of them is the birth mother? They might have adopted or used a surrogate. It might be their niece. To ask like you have any right to know is just rude.
@SW-User that's indeed equally ambiguous, but people won't ask them if they gave birth to the child. (Okay, "is she yours" is similar, common and usually not perceived as offensive, but that's because the motivation feels entirely different.)
