My Super Embarrassing Day
Every year, five of my girlfriends and I go to the city to one of our favourite motivational women’s speakers fair. It’s a big deal, it’s always a huge crowd of other women and it’s an amazing experience.
As mentioned, I’ve lost quite a bit of weight but haven’t updated my wardrobe yet. I didn’t think it was an issue. Anyways, when we got there, all the seats were taken so there was only room to sit on the floor. We sat towards the front and knew we wouldn’t be leaving that space for a long time.
Anyways, three of us were sitting in front and two behind. We were set up like that for about two hours. I could hear my friends giggling and laughing throughout the event but I had no idea why. I was enjoying myself and wasn’t think about it too much. I turned around to talk to them and saw they were filming the talks (or so I thought). I noticed a few women who were not looking at the speakers but instead, at my friends phone and at me. I didn’t understand but didn’t care.
At dinner, my friends were all looking at my friends phone laughing and then were joking with me and refused to show me. I just gave up asking.
Anyways, at the end of the day, when we were driving home, my friends asked if I felt a breeze at all that day. I laughed with them but didn’t understand. Until I got home that night and opened my phone to see the picture they sent me.
A fantastic picture of me and how I was sitting for two hours in the middle of 500 women. And no one said a single thing. I am still so embarrassed.
