How embarrassing

Forgot to bring my swimsuit to a birthday party and then loudly proclaimed in front of all my friends that I could swim in my knickers 😳🤦‍♀️ To be fair, I wasn't embarrassed for too long.

we were vacationing in honolulu. i was probably 7 y/o. it was one night when mom got a little too tipsy. after dinner dad thought it was best to put mom to bed. we were in the elevator with another young couple (probably on their honey moon) mom was actually being pretty funny and silly when i think back. but kinda disturbing for a 7 y/o. the couple were trying to hold back their laughter. my dad was feeling a little embarrassed. so my mom was scratching her head and noticed something in her hair...she takes it out and looks at it with one eye (it was an orchid) she started eating it.....the couple belted laughing in tears.. 🤣....i'll never forget that. my brother and i sometimes talk about that when we reminisce

She once offered her bus seat to me when i was a 6'tall teenager!!
