Whilst I am skeptical about online relationships, some of them do indeed work out so I cannot condemn them out of hand. I'm skeptical because many are based in fantasy and when reality bites there is no real commitment to make anything happen.

That said, I don't wish to see anyone suffer unduly and so if someone does then I'll feel sympathetic towards them.
